Today, I had a fantastic breakfast at Artie’s in Fairfax, Virginia!
Below is the “BBBC Brioche French Toast” #2 with smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, and home fries. The French Toast is made with thick bread, rolled in egg and granola crumbs before it gets the heat then it is served with fresh fruit and yogurt drizzle – YUMMY!

As I told my Facebook friends “The French Toast was so good it almost made me forget I had bacon on my plate! I said almost… :~D”

Apparently this place is an institution among my many friends who currently live or have lived in/near Fairfax. Well, I rarely pause in Northern Virginia but, from what I hear, I’ve been missing a little gem of a restaurant. Now you tell me?
For all that great-tasting food, a glass of orange juice, and a bottomless coffee cup I only paid $22.00. Six hours later and I’m still full! Now that’s what I call a great meal.
I’ll make sure on my next visit to order something else from the menu because it is extensive and I like eating well.
