By accessing this website and utilizing our services means that you agree to these Codes of Conduct.

These Codes of Conduct outline the guidelines that govern your relationship with us as a client. By choosing SelfishMe Travel LLC as your travel advisor, you agree to abide by the following guidelines.

Codes of Conduct Guidelines:

  1. Communication: Maintain open, honest, and respectful communication with SelfishMe Travel LLC.
  1. Timeliness: Thoroughly read and respond to communications, sign required documents, and complete required forms or actions within the timeframes specified by SelfishMe Travel LLC to avoid cancellation or rescheduling of your itinerary.
  1. Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of SelfishMe Travel LLC and do not disclose any personal, sensitive or proprietary information without explicit consent.
  1. Payments: Ensure all payments are made by the due dates set by SelfishMe Travel LLC.
  1. Documentation: Provide copies of passports to SelfishMe Travel LLC immediately upon request, apply for country(ies) visas in a timely manner, complete country(ies) entry/exit forms before arrival, obtain required vaccines, etc.
  1. Punctuality: Be on time for all scheduled activities, tours, and ground transportation to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Also, be on time for cruise ship, rail/train, and airline embarkations and departures.
  1. Itinerary: Keep informed about your itinerary and any changes, ensuring you are prepared and on time for scheduled activities.
  1. Respect: Treat roommates, fellow passengers, tour guides, and locals with courtesy and respect.
  1. Safety: Follow all safety guidelines provided by the tour guides and local authorities.
  1. Compliance: Comply with all local, state, and international laws and regulations during your trip. Stay up-to-date by going to the US Department of State Travel Advisories to learn about the country(ies) you plan to visit and enrolling in STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program)You are ultimately responsible for knowing how and if you are eligible to enter and exit a foreign country, what you can and cannot do in a foreign country and whether or not you’ll feel safe.
  1. Sustainability: Be mindful of the environment; dispose of waste properly and respect wildlife and natural habitats.
  1. Feedback: Supply constructive feedback to SelfishMe Travel LLC to help improve our services, but refrain from derogatory or harmful comments.
  1. Email List: Agree to allow weekly emails from SelfishMe Travel LLC until you unsubscribe.

VIOLATIONS: Failure to adhere to these Codes of Conduct may result in being left behind, being refused future trip planning services, and/or termination of services without a refund, etc.

 

SPECIAL Codes of Conduct for SelfishMe Travel Escorted Group Tour Passengers:

In addition to the Codes of Conduct above, these Codes of Conduct outline the expectations for behavior during your group tour escorted by SelfishMe Travel LLC.

Codes of Conduct Guidelines

  1. Inclusivity: Participants agree to create an inclusive atmosphere by refraining from discriminatory or offensive behavior.
  2. Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs: Participants will limit alcohol consumption to responsible levels, smoke or vape only where permitted, and refrain from using any illegal substances.
  3. Notifications: Participants must immediately report allergic reactions, illnesses, injuries and/or necessary absence from scheduled activities to Group Leader/Host before and during the trip, so that appropriate actions can be taken in a timely manner.
  4. Photography and Videography:
    • Consent:
      a. All participants in the group agree that by joining the tour, they consent to the capturing of photos and videos by the tour organizer (SelfishMe Travel LLC) or designated photographer/videographer for promotional and documentation purposes.
      b. Participants who prefer not to be photographed or filmed must explicitly inform the tour organizer prior to the start of the tour and are encouraged to reiterate their preference directly to the photographer or videographer.
    • Respect for Privacy:
      a. Participants will respect fellow travelers’ preferences regarding photo and video participation and refrain from photographing or filming anyone who has expressed discomfort or explicitly requested not to be included.
      b. Any images or videos featuring others should not be shared publicly on social media or other platforms without their consent.
    • Etiquette in Capturing:
      a. When photographing or filming group activities, participants will avoid obstructing the view of others or causing disruptions.
      b. Be mindful of local customs and cultural norms that may prohibit or discourage photography, especially in religious, sacred, or private locations.
    • Use of Media:
      a. SelfishMe Travel LLC reserves the right to use photos and videos captured during the tour for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
      b. Participants are encouraged to share personal photos and videos taken during the tour responsibly, giving due credit to the tour organizer and ensuring that they do not compromise the safety, privacy, or rights of others.
    • Children and Vulnerable Individuals:
      a. Any photography or videography involving children or vulnerable individuals requires the explicit permission of their guardians.
      b. SelfishMe Travel LLC will take special care to avoid the publication of identifiable images of children and vulnerable individuals without prior written consent.
    • Disputes and Complaints:
      a. Should any disputes or concerns arise regarding the use of photos or videos, participants are encouraged to contact SelfishMe Travel LLC promptly for resolution.
      b. All complaints will be handled with sensitivity, and appropriate action will be taken to address valid concerns.

 

VIOLATIONS: Failure to adhere to these Special Codes of Conduct may result in actions taken by SelfishMe Travel LLC, including but not limited to being dismissed from the group tour, being left behind, being refused future trip planning services, being refused participation in our future escorted trips, and/or immediate termination of our services without a refund, etc.
