As the Lead Person for a group (family, friends and/or followers), you hold a unique role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for everyone. These Codes of Conduct outline your responsibilities and expectations.

Codes of Conduct Guidelines:

  1. Communication: Maintain open, honest, and respectful communication with SelfishMe Travel LLC. And serve as the primary liaison between your group and SelfishMe Travel LLC, ensuring that all communications are relayed accurately and promptly.
  1. Decision-Making: Make informed decisions on behalf of your group, and if applicable, consider the preferences and needs of all members and that you have been given the rights and authority to sign or approve necessary documents on their behalf.
  1. Timeliness: Thoroughly read and respond to communications, sign required documents, and complete required forms or actions within the timeframes specified by SelfishMe Travel LLC to avoid cancellation or rescheduling of your itinerary.
  1. Confidentiality: Protect and respect the privacy of your group members and other SelfishMe Travel LLC clients and do not disclose any personal, sensitive or proprietary information without explicit consent.
  1. Payments: Encourage timely payments from all group members, adhering to the attrition dates and payment deadlines set by SelfishMe Travel LLC.
  1. Documentation: Encourage and remind each group member to provide copies of passports to SelfishMe Travel LLC, to apply for country visas in a timely manner, to obtain required vaccines, etc.
  1. Punctuality: Be at least 10 minutes early for all scheduled activities, tours, and ground transportation to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Also, be on time for cruise ship, rail/train, and airline embarkations and departures.
  1. Itinerary: Keep your group informed about the itinerary and any changes, ensuring everyone is prepared and on time for scheduled activities.
  1. Respect: Treat roommates, fellow passengers, tour guides, and locals with courtesy and respect.
  1. Inclusivity: Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere within your group, discouraging any form of discrimination or harassment.
  1. Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of your group by following all safety guidelines provided by the tour guides and local authorities.
  1. Compliance: Comply with all local, state, and international laws and regulations during your trip. Stay up-to-date by going to the US Department of State Travel Advisories to learn about the country(ies) you plan to visit and enrolling in STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program)You are ultimately responsible for knowing how and if you are eligible to enter and exit a foreign country, what you can and cannot do in a foreign country and whether or not you’ll feel safe.
  1. Sustainability: Be mindful of the environment; dispose of waste properly and respect wildlife and natural habitats.
  1. Feedback: Supply constructive feedback to SelfishMe Travel LLC, but refrain from derogatory or harmful comments, on behalf of your group to help improve our services and future travel experiences for all.
  1. Email List: Agree to allow weekly emails from SelfishMe Travel LLC until you unsubscribe.

VIOLATIONS: Failure to adhere to these Codes of Conduct may result in being left behind, being refused future trip planning services, and/or termination of services without a refund, etc.

 

SPECIAL Codes of Conduct for a Social Media Influencer as the Lead Person:

In addition to the Codes of Conduct above, a Social Media Influencer as the Lead Person of your group, you play a dual role in shaping an unforgettable travel experience with SelfishMe Travel LLC while sharing it with your audience. This Codes of Conduct outlines your responsibilities and expectations in this unique position.

Codes of Conduct Guidelines

  1. Authenticity: Keep your authentic voice when sharing experiences, ensuring that your content aligns with both your brand and SelfishMe Travel LLC‘s values.
  1. Transparency: Clearly disclose your relationship with SelfishMe Travel LLC in all social media posts by using either the #SelfishMeTravel hashtag or mention @selfishmetravel

VIOLATIONS: Failure to adhere to these Special Codes of Conduct may result in actions taken by SelfishMe Travel LLC, including but not limited to, termination of future collaborations.
